Before and during the basketball competition Yuan Qian and Qin Shen are constantly butting heads together though he starts to feel bad when he sees Yuan Qian being mistreated by the other team.

Yuan Qian and Qin Shen are late in getting back to their dorms and both lose five points over it. Yuan Qin needs the five points and finally finds a way to gain them back and in the process she begins to spend more time with Song Siyi.

Yuan Qian gets closer to Song Siyi when she learns his secret by following him. Qin Shen decides that he needs to figure out whether Yuan Qian likes him through suggestions from Chen Qinan.

Song Siyi makes a grand gesture towards Yuan Qian which Qin Shen notices and realizes he needs to up his game only to blunder and confuse Yuan Qian more.

Yuan Qian finds out that she got her job through Ling Wei and decides to buy her a present so she doesn't feel like she owes her something. When she sees Ling Wei she notices that she is taking medication for depression.

Yuan Qian's roommates find out about her transfer and are upset with her for not telling them and start to ignore her. Qin Shen gives her some advice on how to repair the relationship.

Qin Shen and Yuan Qian and their roommates plan a trip together for their break hoping to have fun and relax before the school starts. Qin Shen tells Yuan Qian that she needs to make their relationship public.

Ling Wei ends up in the same place as Qin Shen, Yuan Qian and their classmates are sightseeing. Ling Wei decides that she needs to change hotels to be closer to the group only to see something she was not expecting.

Yuan Qian finally makes her relationship with Qin Shen public after Ling Wei sees them together. Yuan Qian confronts her about her motive behind their friendship.
