Item: Murder Case
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: The BBC strikes again!!
The BBC shows the 6 episodes as one season. The metadata on iPlayer reveals s01e01 - s01e06.
However, on the production company website, they refer to "Season 2" (see link below).

You can work out which episodes make up "Season 2" and by extension those which were broadcast before and after would in theory make up Season 1 and Season 3. However, does the production company info trump the BBC metadata?
I wanted to add some artwork and alternate episode names as the BBC have altered three episode titles.
I'm not sure which were the originals and which are the alternate as maybe they had the wrong title and updated or had them right and have since changed them? I understand the most recent name is correct and an old name becomes the alternate (if episodes follow the same guidelines and show names?).
Any guidance on whether it should be a single series show (as per iPlayer metadate) or split into seasons as per the production website would be appreciated.
If it should be split as per the production company, Season 3 only has one episode so should be a special.
There's a new two-part story out 12 August so would be good if I can get an answer and make any updates before then so we're ready to add the new stuff.
Sorry for the long post!

No, the BBC doesn't show one single season.
For episodes, only the original name should be listed.
This should be split in seasons as per the original BBC Scotland broadcast.
It is. And, consequently, the new season should be listed here as season 3. An episode group has been created to accomodate the complete broadcast order.
