Anson Mount appears as Captain Pike in three episodes. Ethan Peck (Spock) and Rebecca Romijn (Number One) are in two episodes.

Thanks for the updates Wonder2wonder ...I enjoyed the clip of Spock 's arrival but the scene in the turbo lift has me worried.

It never dawned on me that the writers most probably will mirror Nimoy's take of Spock in "The Cage "..

We all know that his character was not yet defined at that point and that's why Spock smiles looking at the flowers on Talos IV etc...

Of course, having Number One who is supposed to be the cool collected officer in Roddenberry's pilot , complicates matters....

Seeing Spock sing and smile in the turbolift irked me ..I just hope they tone it down ...I don't want a repeat of JJ Abrams' emotional NuSpock.

They already made an error in SNW they showed an actress playing Khan's daughter who somehow is part of the crew of Enterprise 10 years before Kirk & Co found the SS Botany Bay . (God can't they at least watch the episode Space Seed before doing something silly like that)

Uhura and Nurse Chapel background history will be retconned. I'm not sure about Dr. M'Benga. Where is Dr. Phillip Boyce?

At the moment there is a casting for the new Kirk, McCoy, Scotty, Sulu and Chekov. You can expect changes there too in their background history and characterisation. ☹

Star Trek sites like Memory Alpha have not been rewritten yet, but - as with Spock's page - I expect this to happen soon. So, if you're interested to know and remember how these characters were before the retcon, then you still have one last chance to visit, before the wave of Modern Star Trek engulfs all.

After I stopped swearing , I did a bit of research ... her name is La'an Noonien-Sing and she maybe a descendant of the genetically engineered warlord Khan.

Well, how are they going to explain why Spock in TOS never mentioned her when they found out who Khan was in "Space Seed".?

Why do these writers have to milk and cash in continuously on characters we love from TOS? why can't they just create new characters, that are not related to those we know so well?

They don't have to, but if they do, it will be something similar like explaining 'why did Spock or his parents never mention his adopted sister?'.

As the information about the characters is being changed on the Star Trek sites and in future hard copies to include the retcons in the "Nu Star Trek", that will become the reality for most of the new fans. Only the older fans will remember how it was originally.

Ti sei ricordato ..sei molto caro ..infatti ieri era il suo anniversario. Sono passati già 4 anni.

Sono andata a trovarlo e ho messo dei fiori . Mi manca molto ma credo lui avrebbe fatto fatica a vivere in questo nuovo mondo fatto di mascherine , distanziamento sociale, lockdown ... faccio fatica io .

Crescendo i miei erano sempre via per lavoro ed io in collegio. Quando mia mamma poi e' morta nel 2006 , mio padre e' tornato a vivere con me in Italia.

Well they finally admitted it!! the USS Enterprise in SNW is 25% different after more than 4 years of being falsely accused of being a liar (even though there was photographic evidence) they finally came clean. So the Enterprise in SNW is 25% different ergo it was 25% different when It appeared in STD. Also J.J. had a similar deal with Disney so that reinforces the whole point that all of new Trek is 25% different.
