There's no confirmation for season 2 and Russian series rarely have announcements about their cancellations or endings.

And yes, I did in fact watch the series. The characters speak Russian 90% of the time or so, there's no way French is one of the main languages.

I completely understand your point. However, one thing is when someone speaks a different language only briefly in one episode and the other when another language appears in almost all episodes, even if only for short time. But let's see what the mod's will say about it ...

Okay, I think only moderators can resolve this case, because even when these short scenes featuring French appear in all episodes I think French doesn't qualify as one of the main languages.

The Hussar is a spy who infiltrates the ranks of the French during the war between the Russian Empire and the French Empire in order to spy on the French and, as far as I can remember, steal important documents and take them to his superiors.
