we think that our API key has been misused/leaked and we want to create a new one, but unfortunately there is a problem: if we regenerate/recreate a new API key, all our users with the current version of our app will be locked out. We would need to create a second API key while the transition from release A (old API key) to release B (new API key) is active (timeframe would be about 2 - 3 months).
Since there is no option to create a second API key in our profile, could you suggest how to achieve such a transition? Maybe register the second API key in a temporary account for the transition? Is that allowed?

I don't know of any transition alternatives.
I think you will need to create an update with the new API Key or new session to use the TOKEN.
