Dear TMDB team and community,

I have a problem and hope I can get some help here. Recently I submitted my ready-for-production app for Apples review process and got immediately rejected because I use screenshots of my app for the store entry, which (of course) shows output from the TMDB api. The Apple reviewer noticed that the posters and images are 3rd party content I definitely need some type of permission for. I answered then that all shown content of my app is brought by TMDB api, sent him the terms of use and data policy, that Im allowed to use it and that I know competitors who also use screenshots of their apps with 3rd party content. This was the answer then: _"Hello Benedikt,

All usage of protected trademarks and copyrighted materials requires a rights check based on the app store guidelines. We need to see some form of paperwork, email, electronic communication or video recording of the authorizer allow your app to use the material in the screenshots. We also need to see you the developer being granted permission to use the content.

As for other apps thanks for the information and we will look into it if they also don’t fall in complaince. Once you’ve acquired the rights please respond back to this message and we can proceed with the review of your app.

To the tmdb staff team: Could you please provide me with such a granted permission with my name on it, that Im permitted to use tmdb content in my screenshots and in general? To the community: Have you also faced such an experience during release of your projects?
