Cache images from the api?

Hi, is it ok that my app can load the image and store it in the app cache for faster loading for the user? (And dont have to re-download it everytime). What i mean is posters for the movies/series. Also, is there a thumbnail for the images? Im intending letting the user select cache: none, full size, thumbnail.
