in_production flag for TV shows

What does the in_production flag for TV shows indicate?
Can I use this to determine (roughly of course) if a series has been renewed for another season??

In fact it looks like I can use returning_series
Would this return whether or not it has been renewed?

Hi Alex,
"in production" would indicate that it is currently being made. "returning series" would be the one you;re looking for, like you mentioned. This indicates that it's been renewed, yes.

Wicked - thanks, in the end I realised it must be the "returning_series" property :-)
