Extra Details: There's no incorrect content. I'm submitting this Report simply to request that Creighton Hale's birth date field be locked. IMDb shows 1889 birth year for him, Wikipedia shows 1882. However I've genealogically researched him, and multiple official documents make clear that 1888 was his accurate birth year. Too, that's what the United States Social Security Death Index indicates - and the Social Security Administration requires birth date document(s) of proof when issuing a person a Social Security number. Mr. Hale would have had to submit, to the US government, one or more such document(s), or there would have had to be sworn affadavits from family members, that served to prove his birth date to the government's "official" satisfaction.
Incidentally, as the copied-and-pasted Wikipedia text that's presented as Creighton Hale's TMDb biography stated 1882 birth year, I took the liberty to change the "2" to "8", as otherwise people looking at his TMDb Overview page would become confused. The Wikipedia site, itself, still shows the very wrong year.
PS: Mr. Hale's World War II draft registration card indicates that he was born in 1889. I'm an experienced genealogical research and have found many instances, throughout the years, of draft registration cards indicating wrong (typically by just a single year) birth years, that differ, to whatever extent, from the person's birth year on reliable other lifetime documents. (Sometimes a man's indicated birth year on his WW I draft registration card will conflict with his indicated birth year on his WW II draft registration card. Even my own grandfather's WW I and WW II draft registration cards conflict about what his birth year was.) I'm sure that whomever presented 1889 as Mr. Hale's birth year on IMDb was going by what's on his WW II draft registration card. However, as the US government deemed 1888 to be his accurate birth year, that's what we need to go by.

Perhaps it would be interesting to leave a record in the biography of this controversy of the year of birth. Some phrase like:
Some sources cite 1989 or 1982 as the year of birth.
And who knows, you could do the correction on Wikipedia. Discuss this controversy and, more importantly, cite the sources you found.

I've just now added an FYI note below Mr. Hale's TMDb biography. It reads:
[TMDb FYI add-on note: While online sites differ regarding Mr. Hale's birth year, the United States Social Security Death Index indicates that he was born in 1888. When during his lifetime issuing Mr. Hale a Social Security number, the Social Security Administration would have required him to submit documentation proof, or sworn affadavits, of his accurate and true birth date, and his other identifying details. Thus, the SSDI can be considered credible reliable verification of Mr. Hale's 1888 birth year.]
