Geralt of Rivia's familiar face in The Witcher 3 has been swapped out with the newer TV version, courtesy of a modder who has uploaded a new facial model based on Henry Cavill to Nexus Mods.

Adnan4444 based the mod on screenshots and early footage of Henry Cavill playing Geralt in the upcoming Netflix adaptation of The Witcher books.

Meanwhile Geralt's in-game voice actor, Doug Cockle, responded to news that Henry Cavill has unwittingly trod on his territory. "How dare they mod out my perfectly facial captured image of Game Geralt," Cockle told IGN, presumably before walking off to benchpress a fridge.

Btw, I thought TW had a panel at the NYCC last weekend. Hivemind (TW’s production company) was there, but not to talk about TW. I guess the new trailer wasn’t ready. But it will be for the biggest comics and games festival in Europe and the second biggest in the world after Comiket in Tokyo, Japan.

They had a panel at SDCC, the largest CC in North America. Now it’s Europe’s turn. LCG is the largest CC in Europe. Maybe their next stop is Comiket to promote it in Asia.

SDCC used to be the largest CC in North America. NYCC is the larges one now. SDCC is unable to grow due to venue capacity limits. Only 130,000 people can attend. NYCC doesn’t have capacity limits. In 2014 its attendance reached 151,000 and it keeps growing each year. Do the math. It’s 2019.
