The fact that they won AT ALL is ridiculous. Missy Elliot, Usher and debatable “Avril” are much more deserving compared to Pink/Jennifer.

On what planet is Avril deserving? Usher doesn't either.

Avril music videos catalog is much more memorable than PINK/Jennifer. Come on. In the black community Usher is a R&B icon. His music videos (early ones at least) are extremely remembered.

She like totally so deserves you know to finally get like you know that award for like her contribution to like the music industry and like videos and stuff even though she hasn't really like ha released a good video in almost like a decade or you know even more ha but it could be fun to see ha her like performing and showing off her you know like vocal acrobats ha and that sort of you know stuff.

It's BEYOND unfair how the VMAs have treated Xtina over the years. I hope they give it to her but it's far more plausible they'll be giving it to Gaga, Adele, Bieber or Eminem before her. I'm used to Xtina being robbed by them though.

Adele would be such a random choice because while she does often have great videos, they're not exactly what she's known for.

Justin Bieber is also a random choice but less surprising because he meets MTV's demographic better.

Gaga and Eminem are definitely deserving.

Gaga will not get one it’s simply too early and she only has a few outstanding videos while others who have won have much more videos to choose from of quality. Christina, Eminem & Missy deserves it much more than Gaga.

JT got a Vanguard Award for what exactly? He has like ONE outstanding video. Gaga has more outstanding videos and is more outstanding visually than P!nk too. So since both JT and P!nk can get that award, so can Gaga.

I’m almost positive Katy would get it before Gaga. Katy’s videos are much more visually outstanding and she actually has original concepts. It wouldn’t surprise me if Katy got it next year.

Well, if the VMAs wanted ratings, Katy is the last act they'd book right now. Gaga literally swept the industry this year so booking her would be in their best interest. Plus, Gaga is the far more popular VMA act having won sh!tloads of them.
