It was #1 on TTH (the biggest playlist on Spotify) and debuted at #52 in WW Spotify with 1.397M streams. #23 in the US and #41 in the UK respectively.
This is yet another dud track for her outside the Savage remix. It’s clear the GP want her to make fun upbeat songs again and not be preachy and capitalize off politics anymore. Reinvention time please.

Yeah and it’s just not a good song, not very catchy.

Then don't listen? Beyonce doesn't owe you anything. BLM is hugely important. Not just to her as a brand, but her culture as a whole.
I'll take socially conscious B over Sasha Fierce any day.

She can make socially conscious songs that are good. They don't have to be bad. Formation, Brown Skin Girl, Freedom, etc. are all songs I enjoyed that are also empowering. She can do it well so there's no excuse why she's been lackluster creatively after Lemonade. I find her capitalizing off of this movement a bit self-serving but that's just my opinion.

How the hell can she capitalise off a movement like BLM? Beyonce is BLACK. This is the time for artists like her to use their platform.
Black Parade isn't even that bad, and this entire narrative you're pushing is coming off passive aggressive as fuck. Come to think of it, Formation had similar criticism when first released. Lots of annoying white twinks moaning about her not squatting out another Single Ladies.
Let's also bear in mind that B is 22 years into her recording career, and not every thing she releases is gonna be a career high. Lemonade is so widely praised because it's one of those rare moments.

Well I’m not a white twink but okay. I didn’t diss Formation at all since it fit the theme of her current era. Black Parade is boring to me and comes off inauthentic. Whether Beyoncé or Rihanna or Ariana or whoever sings this song, I still would feel the same 💀

It's essentially the same message though. Stop being political, and get back to making catchy pop music.
