Can't believe a gay rapper and Milly Cyrus' dad will be having the longest-running no.1 in history of Billboard. LOL.

what does his being gay have to do with it though?

How many gay rappers do you know that are spending weeks at no.1 on the charts?

Mariah broke the record twice though. The second time by herself LOL.

The fact that this song won’t even be remembered in a year makes this even more pathetic. The #1 spot on Billboard is becoming less and less prestigious as time goes on, Billboard as a whole really.

Well, to be honest, is One Sweet Day that remembered?

The biggest song of the 1980s according to Billboard hot 100 is Olivia Newton John's physical. A song people only know as a joke nowadays and because of Glee

True, I have no idea what One Sweet Day sounds like. Same goes for most of old Mariah #1s though.

Okay but miss Olivia Newton John was truly ahead of her time with a video featuring gays. A queen.

Physical is still well known. But yeah One Sweet Day was so big back then, but I never hear it nowadays. Boyz II Men were huge then too which helped the song dominate.

True. It’s easily her most forgettable hit but at least there was some talent involved. Old Town Road is a bottom of the barrel cheap meme song. It’s like a Weird Al parody but much worse.

Not everything stands the test of time. She still has hits that are remembered, which is what's most important.
