Discuss Beyoncé

Is this the case of mixed critical reception and audience adoration like Aladdin was? Not surprised the reviews aren’t good considering the voice acting clips I’ve seen were terrible.

The Lion King finally getting the reviews it deserves.

Yikes. Can they stop with these live actions already? There's maybe only ONE film able to get it right

Certified rotten on RT, with 58% now. I saw this coming a mile away. Leave these classics ALONE Disney.

It was actually 56 earlier today so it's moving up.

Jeez. My girl is getting bad reviews for her voice acting. Oh well, it'll still smash.

Good, hopefully it bombs at the box office too. Disney’s greedy ass needs to stop being lazy and stop making these live action movies.

I can understand some films but The Lion King? LMAO smh

I hear they want to make a Lilo & Stitch live action movie in 2021 too.

I haven't read any bad reviews over Beyoncé's acting which surprised me because I find her casting bizarre, to say the least. The woman can sing and perform her ass off but a talker she's not. I don't think I have ever heard her speak a whole sentence without her needing to pause and take a deep breath.

I don't understand why they didn't wait with the Lion King. Beauty and The Beast and Aladdin were popular and loved films but not to the same degree as The Lion King which many think is one of the greatest film ever made (I'm not one of those people LOL). It felt kind of, hey here's The Lion King. Oooh let's get Beyoncé.

Yeah, well. She should've been the singing voice of Nala and maybe some other actress as her speaking voice? Perhaps that would've been the better solution but have you guys seen the marketing campaign for this movie? The actors are namedropping "how amazing it was to work with Beyoncé" and it seems the most of its PR is about Beyoncé being in the film.

Cinderella was incredible, everything else has been trash.

It seems like every aspect of this movie is a huge mess except for the visuals.

And the visuals are also a negative point because it makes the characters less expressive.

What i've heard is that Donald Glover is among the worst in the cast.

Donald Glover is a terrible actor and he’s usually the Mary Sue character in the movies he plays.
