2. Brand synergy matters. Christina was mocked for her Oreo partnership because it was completely random and didn't have anything to do with her brand. The difference is that Gaga's partnership with Bud Light revolved completely around her music. She did a mini-tour showcasing music from her then-upcoming album while Bud Light did little more than slap their name on the affair.

2. My point was that the Bud Light partnership was about Gaga's music (her brand, what she is most known for) while Christina was just a random celebrity spokesperson for Oreos and it had no connection to her music.

Nothing wrong with performing at Stonewall although it may seem a bit of a pandering. Considering it's Pride month and soon to be 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. I think it's a pretty good cause

I don't see what the big deal is. Good for her. Madonna performed there and she's performing for Pride.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. It's just amazing that she's been more or less completely silent on LGBT issues her whole career, only to go full Born This Way-era Gaga out of nowhere just in the last year.
