Both debuted in the 90s, both dominated the 2000s, both have iconic performances, both pop culture phenoms but who has the bigger legacy overall?
To this day I don’t think any female artist since Britney has had a peak like hers so there’s my pick

The only peak that rivals Britney's is Gaga's. However, Beyoncé's peak is something... else. Maybe not in a traditional way but her STATUS is by far the most iconic out of all of them.
Everything Beyoncé does is massively talked about and has huge impact nowadays. She doesn't really churn out hit singles like Rihanna but I think that's because she doesn't really try to. Her single treatments have been awful since 2013 but I guess that same treatment made her the massively hyped act she is today. Rihanna has the hits though but she's not as impactful as Beyoncé.
I have more friends that like Rihanna and more friends that LOVE Beyoncé. If you get what I mean? I have more friends that like Rihanna more than Beyoncé but the people I know that choose Bey over Rih LOOOOOVE Beyoncé. Aka. Beyoncé has a much stronger and passionate following, so I would say that makes her stronger commercially as well. The Single Ladies dance is also way more iconic.

The one who’s legacy is still being crafted 20 years into her career lol.
Britney is cute but let’s be real, she is more known as a pop culture figure than an artist. She’s not consistent, she hasn’t artistically grown since ITZ, and people associate her with the breakdown no shade. I’d say Britney’s legacy in POP music is bigger but Beyoncé much more respected musically than Britney ever was and she’s lasted much longer as well. Both are icons though.

Didn’t you claim Rihanna, Xtine, and Adele had no impact and Beyoncé was a flop like three weeks ago? Now all of a sudden they have a legacy? You’re so transparent.

C’mon, it’s obviously Beyoncé.
That doesn’t take anything away from Britney’s legacy though, or how insanely obsessed people were at her peak.
