Discuss Beyoncé

Reports are stating she might release a new single by the summer with a fall release.

Jesus Christ remember when we thought Rihanna was doing too much. Ariana is about to release 3 studio albums in a year time frame. Rihanna is shook!

Released Liberation in 2018. Went on tour for that album in 2018.

Announce Vegas residency & Europe Tour along with rumor to be releasing a new album in 2019.

Christina is active and doing just fine.

So she’s abandoning TUN already? At least Rihanna would milk hers a little more. 3 singles is an era now I guess 😂. I miss when 5 singles were the standard and they’d go all out with videos. Streaming is making these artists so lazy.

She’s always released 2-3 singles a era. I do understand what you mean with missing 4-5 singles. It’s like everyone besides a few do more than 2. Also like nobody does interviews anymore.

There’s a new trend of making a music video for a song on the album that isn’t a single for promotion but it’s silly.

Everyone is simply lazy....

I wouldn't want Xtina to release three albums in a year. That's too much. There's something great about MISSING and then anticipating new music from your favorite artist.

Last I heard she was rumored to be working on a video for a fourth single. Let's hope that's the truth. Releasing too many albums in a short period of time makes the eras less memorable.

Really wish Christina would drop a English & Spanish record in the same year.

I would rather her release an English album this year and then a Spanish album next year. Would give us THREE albums three years in a row.

It’s like when the Loud era was overlapping into TTT. I remember hearing Cheers nonstop on radio when TTT had already been out for months. Or when WFL was smashing everywhere still and she drops Diamonds and moved onto Unapologetic 💀. Rated R and TTT are her least memorable eras outside of her two debuts for that reason.

I hope the fourth single is Bad Idea but there’s other good choices. Kinda shocked at Billie being the dark horse and drowning out TUN already.

Back in the day, an artist would release 1-2 albums per year, some more, some less but releasing 1-2 albums per year was the norm. It wasn't until the surge in album sales in the mid 70s, that artists took breaks between albums. When album sales plummeted by the early 80s more acts started releasing albums more frequently and by mid 80s album sales were back at being big business, artists began taking breaks between their albums. Now albums aren't selling. An traditional era is in the past. Now artist can easily record a song and upload it on iTunes and on streaming sites. Recording music and releasing it is easier than ever so there is no point if the iron is hot of taking a break. If the music is available then she ought to release it.

That explains why Cher and Brenda Lee have so many albums within a couple years. Led Zeppelin releasing yearly too until Houses of the Holy. I just assumed it was due to albums being so in demand.

She’s scared of being forgotten. I don’t blame her I find her level of fame to be very Katy Perry 2010-2012 ish. Her fan base will grow up and move on to the next big thing just like Katy’s did.
