Go Madge. I had zero hopes for this performance and she fucking killed it !!!!

So I watched the performance and overall it was okay. Saying she killed it is a bit of a stretch since her vocals were pretty bad at times during Like a Prayer. She served visuals although I'm kind of over those stairs and what not. It's been overdone. It was a nice ending though, so overall okay. She's been getting some negative reviews though.
I don't get why she didn't perform I Rise. A much better song.

It's not like she has been delivering splendid vocals in the past 15 years so I don't know what these people were expecting. The visuals were amazing in my opinion and her vocals during the Like A Prayer were much better than what she sounded for a while.
Some people were upset that she went political - I guess they forgot that she's Madonna.

people are doing too much with dragging her LAP vocals, it wasn't the best version she's ever done but it was better than almost every date on both of her last tours.
future was good, i wanted more choreo but overall ok.
what impressed me most were the visuals, costumes and the snippet of dark ballet that sampled the nutcracker, this album is really gonna be an artistic statement and i'm so ready for it.
i think alot of people were expecting superbowl 2.0 but they got angry, political madonna and that never goes down well with the masses. If she'd done a redux of the billboard performance and brought maluma i guarantee she'd be getting near universal praise today.

She could’ve brought Maluma, and still delivered “angry political Madonna”.
Plus, having Israel host was always going to garner protest and criticism. Iceland were far more gag worthy.

Australia can’t host Eurovision, but apparently fucking Israel and Russia can.
Places that hold such low value on human rights should NEVER be given a platform like this. I hope their attempt to disqualify Iceland backfires on them horribly.

Why is Israel even allowed to host Eurovision? Even though most of the people living there are European descendants it's still not a European country. Funny how when you say they're Europeans on Arab land they get outraged but then include themselves in events like Eurovision. I guess they have the luxury of picking and choosing when they want to be European or not.
Go Iceland! The rest of Europe should follow.

Israel is part of the European Broadcasting Union or was and that's why they get to host and participate. Australia is only in this competition due to the simple fact that Eurovision is extremely popular there and they eventually gave in as they had requested to participate and considering how well their entries have received in the competition they are here to stay. A lot of North-African countries and Middle Eastern Countries are also a part of EBU but they don't want to participate. Morocco participated once I think.
Israel has often or not been political in this competition so I find this very hypocritical of them but not surprising. The 2016 winner from Ukraine, was a very politically charged song.
They say this is not a political contest. How is it not?
