There's a big reason why Taylor hasn't toured properly in Europe and has very few dates there. Never flopped as badly? Sure, but she has never been as successful as Gaga either

The song quality aside, are you really gonna ignore the fact the song went top 10 WW based on Taylor’s name alone? That’s exactly what happened with her last lead single.

The problem isn’t her ability to be a WW star, but the ability to create more impactful material. Even saying that, Delicate still saved her era, so the new album might still have something to offer.
