He was, but he’s in talks now, which mean it’s pretty much confirmed.
The guy has the perfect look for Bruce/Batman and he can deliver an award winning performance. No matter how the film turns out, we know we’re going to get a fantastic performance from our Batman.
I don’t mind it. I think he’ll be able to get the voice down. It’s kinda sad how much the Twilight saga put a stain on the main actors. Everybody always writes them off and some barely even get work (Taylor Lautner) so I’ll give him a chance.

Exactly my problem with him. But I know he's been getting great reviews for his last couple of projects. I don't see him as Bruce Wayne but I think he's talented enough to pull such a complex character off.

Yeah he doesn’t give off Bruce Wayne vibes to me, especially physically but I think I’ve just been spoiled with Christian Bale. I’d prefer Nicholas Hoult out of the two.
I swear the casting for Batmen gets worst with each casting. Perhaps they should take a break and give the bat a rest. Same with Spider Man. Lord Jesus !

Fo real! It's like they look for more and more invalidated cheesedicks to do the part. Robert Pattinson is a piece of emo goth blank wood. What next? Peter Dinklage as Thor?! Bahahahaha!

It's not official. He's just on the "shortlist" according to Deadline. Apparently the earlier reports jumped the gun.

Could be worse.
Better choice than Ben Affleck
But honestly I don't really care. LMFAO.

Wait, they're already re-casting Batman? A MESS!
Cedric Diggory would get it.

People laughed at Hedger went he was cast as Joker. Honestly I can see him doing a good job as Bruce Wayne.

yep and let's not forget that the casting Michael Keaton as Batman (1989) was very controversial and caused a huge uproar.

I've heard people were laughing at the choice but was it really a big deal?

Yeah, Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, and Robert Pattinson are just the WORST actors.
You guys sound kinda dumb whining about a talented actor and talented director collaborating on a noire-driven Batman film.

Ben Affleck simply can't act, and Pattinson isn't much better.
What next? Lumping in Pauly Shore with Gary Oldman?
