Can't believe I'm saying this but...

Witness is Katy's worst album to date. I really really wanted to love it, and I was praying that this tragic era would be redeemed after listening to the album in full but I'm just over it. The song's are basic, the lyrics are basic, and the production is nothing special. The album is just boring and there's nothing on the record that I'll really see myself bopping to besides maybe 4 songs. At least One of Those Boys had charm to it. The aesthetics for the era is cute but everything else falls flat and I'm just over her at this point. My faves are Witness, Pendulum, Tsunami, and Power.

She's done. Her new hair sucks, she has no game plan and it's totally obvious, the new songs suck and aren't worth a second listen.
Trying to lamely capitalize on the election by making an anti-Trump album, and saying we should keep open borders following the Grande terrorism incident certainly didn't help her.

She tried that "political pop" route and when that didn't do well she shaved her head and went right back to singing about sex. I think people just see how transparent her act is and they're over it.

I think it's exactly what you'd expect from her. Can understand some of the criticism though.

It certainly doesn't help that her new music utterly blows..
