Gaga sold Born This Way for 99 cents on Amazon and still had an almost 10 million sales decrease.

Hon', those were 400k copies LIMITED. She still sold almost 700k first week full price. By the looks of it, Katy's doing this to save the first week sales since she has no hit, Gaga could've done without that deal and she still would've had the biggest first week sales by a female that year.
That said, both deals were/are tacky, but Gaga's lasted two days, while Katy's will last a couple of weeks at least.
