OMG! most of you are acting like a bunch of whiney little spoiled brats. Oh no, the poor little babies have too many choices? Listen, Nobody has to go anywhere just because you say so, or because you don't like a certain place or like another place better! Let them decide for themselves and let them enjoy the websites/forums.
The people who created these alternative websites to try and replace the lost forums at IMDB.com have put a lot of hard work in to creating these sites for you all to have a place to be social and have a place to continue to discuss your favorite TV shows, movies, actors, and other stuff, but so far no mater which site I go to all I hear is a bunch of angry, rude, immature assholes complaining about everything and everyone and trying to bully people around. How about you all grow up and get a life for starters and maybe learn how to be respectful to one another rather than just jumping on all of these forums every chance you get and keeping this damn drama alive and going on forever just because you have nothing of value to contribute to a community forum other than this nasty garbage.
Why don't you do something constructive like write reviews for TV shows and movies that you like on here? It's a very nice website but it seems like most of you don't even care and would just rather to continue crying about how everybody has to pick one place to go because a site has to have 20,000 members or more in order to be cool enough or acceptable to you. Who the hell are you anyways? What have you done to help any of us?

What is the motivation for people to keep advertising moviechat on this site?
I don't see people advertising themoviedb on that site.
Do you know why? Because the users of moviechat know that themoviedb is a better platform and they are trying to steal users.

I did find their self entitlement to be rather annoying. Funny how they don't see it in themselves, right? As if they are so entitled, they don't realize they are acting like self entitled brats.

I honestly don't understand where all this animosity is coming from. It looks like the most frequent posters of this board make up a small, but vibrant, community that want to stay in touch and from the looks of it, they are not being treated too kindly. Yes, Travis and company have put in a lot of effort to make this site what it is, but he was also helped by those of us who contribute daily or post valuable feedback. If one community is talking about leaving for another site because their experience is not positive, I don't see how you can tell them off and then be upset when they try to establish their group someplace else.
The site has a lot of growing to do. I think we should all do our best to be more accommodating to our members.
