On Women's Day, Snapchat had a special "Women's Day" tribute where users from around the world could send snaps of them celebrating and I swear there were numerous women who had that awful song in the background. Add to that that the song entered the iTunes Top 100 on election night, presumably because of the potential first female president and you get what I mean.
But I think it's mostly devoted Bey stans and tweens that have lousy taste and little-to-no knowledge about true female anthems that make this song stand the test of time. And the media seem to keep referencing that song here and there, so their ass-licking is also a factor.
I love Bey but she has other songs much more deserving than that track.

It's truly one of the worst lead singles ever. Goes into the top ten. I think most of the pop girls has one awful first single that could make the list.

Also it doesn't fit 4 at ALL. Belongs more on I Am...Somewhat Fierce.

Disagree, that song didn't belong in any album, Sasha Fierce is nowhere as good as 4, but still good, even it's worst song(Single Ladies) tops Run the World.

I love that song and the video. Anyone who thinks it is a bad song and equally bad video is just a hater.
