Discuss Beyoncé

I feel like she's done it all. Countless TV performances, countless commercials, countless dive bar tours, countless sponsors, and then the Superbowl. Joanna has done well in this sales climate and without a smash, but I feel like she needs one more single if she wants it to go over 2 million WW/match Artpop. Problem is there's no good options for a single unless she makes one seperate off the album. Maybe do a re-release with new material?

Re-release would be good. But truth of the matter is, Joanne doesn't have any strong singles except maybe Million Reasons or DIC, but I don't think they're that strong. MR is Top 20 on radio this week and it's growing and growing, slowly becoming her big return to radio, so no matter what that song did help her re-gain a bit relevancy.

Based on pure sales, Joanne is doing better than ARTPOP. Her current LP sold almost 1.2 million so far at a time when the best-selling album released in the last 12 months sold 2.6 million. ARTPOP sold 2 million at a time when the best-selling albums sold 4 million. So Joanne is doing better in the current sales climate.

I think it's doing pretty well.

She should push John Wayne because the video is cute.

Nope, she needs a new album to actually slay and it needs to be what fans want, you have to give to your fans what they want and they didn't want a country album, not sure if she'll hit 2 million with Joanne, but she's on the way.

I don't think so. Joanne is a solid album, but it doesn't feature anything that's popular or selling right now. She did what she had to do, the performances have been great and the promotion has been on point. I can't see any other song doing well as a single, so she should let it go.

The Superbowl numbers and the fact that she's still getting booked at huge events shows that there's still an interest in her and what she has to offer, but she just has to release something GREAT with a widespread appeal. Either create something fresh and innovative, or make a disco/new wave influenced album. She's got the potential, she's just gotta execute it well.

Congrats to her for being like the 5th choice for Coachella after Beyonce cancelled. I guess that proves the ugly cokehead is at least as relevant as Radiohead. rofl

Katy would kill to even be considered, so STFU.

You angry boo? You should be happy that Fadga got chosen....after Adele, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, and Nine Inch Nails turned it down. She is headlining with RADIOHEAD for God's sake! RADIOHEAD!!!! No wonder the others turned it down. Too much relevancy! rofl

The fact that you imply Radiohead isn't relevant speaks volumes about your IQ thumbsdown

What does she have to do? She's doing good and this has been a great era for her. Given the sales climate she's slaying a bit.

Nothing. She's done all she could and should just move on to new material while the public is still interested.
