Given enough time your friends will stab you in the back or use you anyway so you're better off without them. I keep a small circle with people I know I can trust.
Don't worry about it, eventually you'll make a friend or two. Have you tried meetup?

Maybe. We all have our preferences and maybe you should be more open to meeting different types of people? But on the other hand trying to make a friend in 2017 is like building a car from scratch. Everyone is too glued to their phones to even notice the person walking next to them on a busy street.
