If Bond is emasculated - made to feel less masculine - I can't see it being a hit with old school Bond fans. Die Another Day has Jinx and that kinda worked - ish. She was sort of an equal to Bond, I guess, so we've been down this road before.

There's nothing wrong with a strong woman in a Bond film but not at the expense of Bond and his macho persona. I don't think Barbara Broccoli would try to undermine Craig's portrayal and try to make him less masculine. I think Bond will still be Bond but there may be some jokes about Bond not trying it on with women. Craig's Bond never felt much of a womanizer so I can't imagine they'll be much of Craig leering at women!

At the launch, producer Barbara Broccoli said Bond's attitudes to women would move with the times. "The Me Too movement has had a huge impact - rightfully, thankfully - on society, and these films should reflect that, as everything we do should," she said.

Looks like Bond's main gadget in this installment will be a suitcase full of consent forms which each lady will be required to carefully fill in and sign before seduction can take place.
