"Slacker" is a vague subgenre that typically overlaps with others like Buddy, Stoner Film and Black Comedy, but since the late 90's into the early 00's it also lives on within Horror films like Idle Hands and Shaun of the Dead, and often depicts themes like laziness, nihilism, apathy, immaturity and a general sense of being left behind by modern society, but not caring. Effectively invented by Richard Linklater with his 1990 film Slacker, which then inspired Kevin Smith to make Clerks, those 2 films will make up the general blueprint for how I decide whether something is or isn't a "slacker" for this list. Mostly this is for my own benefit/amusement anyways. Only films released in 2010 and beyond. I'll be listing them by the order I watched them in.
